Whats involved in a Consultation?
Initial Appointment: Please allow up to an hour and a half for your first consultation. This enables the practitioner to take a full case history, and to undertake professionally and discretly a physical examination if deemed appropriate. A treatment plan will then be discussed and a herbal medicine provided in an appropriate form. Herbal medicine may be prescribed in a tincture (a blend of herbal extracts in an alcohol/water base) or a tea. Capsules and tablets are sometimes used. For external use creams, lotions, poultices or oils may be prescribed.
Follow-up visits: Please allow up to 45 minutes, where your progress will be discussed and evaluated.
CANCELLATIONS: If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give as much notice as possible.
Please note that a charge may be made for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice.
If herbal treatment is deemed inappropriate an alternative treatment may be recommended.
